To anyone who reads this,
Well its has been an adventure to say the least! Been busy, been bored, been happy and sad. And now my journey is coming to an end. Half a year in Ecuador where has it gone.
Last time I wrote I believe it to have been end of April. Since then I have travelled to the famous Casa Blanca beach, graduated highschool again, revisited a few cities with family and toured Ecuador on the final trip for the year with the other exchangers.
Casa Blanca was beautiful, there we stayed in a one of the beautiful white houses in the casa blanca complex. We took some amazing photos at sunset. Went to a nearby tourist beach with crafts and other handmade items. It was a great trip. Went to cuenca with family soon after- I dont remember why.
The last trip was alot of fun. We stareted off in Guyaquil- in the south and ventured our way up to Ibarra- in the North almost near Colombia. We went to a banana Plantation in Machala, saw the historic buildings of Cuenca, ran around the Inga Pirca ruins, lead llamas up a hill, Toured Quito, shopped again in the Otavalo markets and planted trees for a school. Was very sad to say goodbye to everyone.
Now its goodbye time. doing alot of our lasts, taking some photos and exchanging presents. Insanely sad. But Alex, Hanna, Sabrina and I are all going to keep in touch. And I have made some good friends with the other city exchangers in the short trips and i will be sure to email them also. Im pretty proud of myself. Coming halfway through everyones year, changing families and schools and learning a bit more spanish. I saw and experienced an amazingly diverse country. Met some beautiful people and learnt more about myself and the world.
So that is pretty much it from me, until my next adventure to who knows where
